What a weekend! I have so many pictures that I don't know where to start! Guess I'll just get down to it! There are lots and lots and lots posted so scroll on through!
Cooper got a new rug on Friday. You know. Because eventually this kid has to start crawling. Right?
Trying out a popsicle for the first time. And his thoughts?
Tart, man! That was tart!
He also tried peas for the first time this weekend. First off, let me say that these things smell like straight grass. Like, freshly mowed, wet grass. Yuck. So I figured if I was going to make him eat grass I would smile at him every time he took a bite. It didn't make the peas go down in the masses but it did make for some pretty funny pictures.
I just thought this one was cute.
Lola enjoyed the weekend. She loves being outdoors. And the hotter the better for her. Sometimes I think she like to use it like a sauna. You know, to sweat the weight off. Poor girl. It's gonna have to be cranked up a few degrees to get those rolls ironed out.
I love Caffeine Free Coke. And now my child does too.
I love this picture.
We went to a family reunion for my family today. To be more specific, it was the McKee family reunion which is my maternal Grandmother's family (love you Glo!). It was such a nice time to see family that I don't see very often and to catch up. There were babies and kids and it was wonderful. The next several pictures were taken there.
This is Cooper getting his first dosage of baked beans. He ate several, but for some reason this one didn't want to go down the hatch.
I would love to tell you that he drank sweet tea. But he didn't. He just chewed on the straw.
Grandma Kim got to feeling a little froggy and decided to race down the slide against Jace and Shelby. Folks, I got some great pictures of this. But as not to embarass my Mother I will not post them. Wow. Where did this sliver of niceness come from?
Then Nate got to feeling froggy and decided to take Cooper and race Shelby and Jace down the slide. He cheated. And Shelby let him know it!
Nate and I with Cooper and my cousin's little girl Zoe. I...love...her. The girl always smiles. Like, always. Her parents are very lucky that she didn't come home with me.
Chelsea and I with Zoe. Chelsea is Zoe's Mom. I love you Chelsea and we need to stay in much better touch!
Aunt Tanja and Cooper.
This is...interesting. I did not take this picture, but when I downloaded them I found it. Hmmm, I wonder what's going on here. :)
Lovely aprons ladies, just lovely. Grandma, I especially love yours!
Dad, Nate and Uncle Todd.
I...love...him.
After the family reunion we went to my absolute favorite pizza joint. Sweet Lou's in Seelyville. I was not hungry when we went, but it didn't stop me from taking down a couple of pieces. And then ordering a small pizza to bring home. Hey, a girl's gotta have lunch!
Oh Kinley. My beautiful niece. You steal a little more of my heart every time that I see you!
Trying out a lime for size.
Oh! That was sour Mom!
Getting a good picture of these two together is all but impossible these days. They move around way too much! But look at them. Beautiful cousins.
Cousins gotta hug...
"Dude, get off me..."
How early can a foot fetish begin? I'm concerned.
BODY SLAM!
I'm happy that I got this picture and that there isn't crazy blurriness on it because Kinley took those feet and rubbed them all over her Uncle Nate's head. HA-LARIOUS my friends.
Nannie singing some songs with Coop.
Aunt Meredith and Cooper chilling out.
I...am...tired. It was a fabulous weekend with wonderful friends and family. But now I must sleep in order to get up and go to work tomorrow.
Oh wait, nuh-uh! Whoo-hoo! I love summer!
But really, I'm going to bed now. Thanks to everybody for making this such a great weekend for us all!
I'm out. Deuces.
