A month and a day before Cooper was born, Nate and I were blessed with a beautiful niece. When she was born she was this perfect little ball of cuteness and truthfully, from that moment until Cooper was born I didn't know that I could love a baby that much.
Well that little girl is growing like a weed. She changes every time that I see her and she is always doing something new. Her newest trick....crawling.
You cannot tell me that you have ever seen anything as cute as that.
Part of the greatness of Cooper and Kinley being so close in age is that they are going to be able to grow up together, play together, beat up on each other, tattle on each other, love each other, and grow up as more than cousins, but also friends.
But I also discovered something else about my niece that I never thought was possible. It turns out that there is a trait that runs in their blood. As you will recall, my baby is something of a bully. You know, the whole pacifier saga.
I kid you not that at lunch today, this beautiful little angel...
...stole the pacifier right out of this little beautiful angel's...
...mouth.
So two things come to mind.
1) The little punk deserved it for all of the rotten things he has done at day care in the past few weeks.
2) No boy had better ever break my niece's heart. Because not only will he have an uncle, Daddy, Mama, aunt, Nannie, Pa, Grammy, etc. to deal with...
...but she just might steal his pacifier too.
