Come on now. THAT is a cute baby boy.
I'm not so sure where this face came from. But it makes me laugh.
We call this the frog crawl. I love that little baby butt.
And yes, I know I'm going to be that Mom when my kid is in school and I'm in the stands at his t-ball game saying, "Look at how cute my boy is. Look at his cute little tushy." Oh Heavens. My poor child. I need an intervention.
This is our friend Reece. Cooper was trying so hard, getting this close to crawling, and then getting frustrated. But never fear! Reece was there to pat Coop on the back and tell him it was okay. Nothing like a little pep talk from a good pal to put some motivation in you.
The swimming didn't go quite as swimmingly today. It was a little chilly and my main man wasn't as big of a fan. He made an exit after about five minutes or so. And he wasn't sad about it.
This is how Reece holds his nose in the pool. Cracks...me...up.
And the next series of photos are Reece jumping over Bobby's head. I have about a gazillion pictures of this kid jumping in the pool today. He was loving life! Something tells me that he is sleeping very soundly tonight.
By the way, when Bobby asked Reece how his hair was looking today, Reece replied, "Round." Kids. You just can't make this stuff up folks.
These are some of the flowers that Cheri has in her back yard, along with some pictures of what their deck and yard look like. I wasn't kidding when I said it was beautiful and comfortable. She puts these buckets together every year and they are gorgeous.
As for me? Well, I've already had two pots of flowers die. Not exactly a green thumb here. Orange? Well yes.
Reece's folks are Lucas (on the swing in the white hat) and Jenny (holding Coop in the blue shirt). We go together like peas and carrots (name that movie).
These are the banana peppers that Bobby and I are going to stuff and grill this summer. We haven't quite figured out what we're going to put in them yet, but we do know that it's going to involve sausage and cheese. Jealous? Is your mouth watering yet? Yummy.
And these are the tomatoes that Bobby is going to smother is cheesy goodness and grill for me. I can already taste the yumminess melting in my mouth. And I'm not disappointed in it. Nope. Not one bit.
Being grilled means that all of the calories are gone, right? Right?
In all, it was a successful day for the Myers family. Good friends, good food, good laughs. And now, a good night's sleep.
Dueces.
