While You Were Out

What a day! We started out the morning with quite a scare. I came down to make Coop a bottle only to come upstairs with him in our bed screaming and no Daddy around. So I pick munchkin up and begin feeding him when all of the sudden Nate comes rushing out of the bathroom frantically saying, "I can't see!" To make a very long story short he went to the eye doctor first thing this morning and he has dry pockets in his eyes. It's relatively common in LASIK patients and will be fixed with a prescribed salve, but it was very scary at the time.

After school I rushed to pick up Cooper and took him for his six month well baby appointment. He's 17 pounds (25-50 percentile) and 27 1/2 inches (75-90 percentile). Basically we have a string bean on our hands! We have a very healthy baby boy and we don't go back for three months!

After the well baby check Nate picked up Cooper and back to work I went. Tonight was a welcome for the sixth graders that will be coming to Tri-North next year. You know how sometimes you feel like your missing out on something really great and it just totally bums you out? That happened to me tonight. Here is the progression of pictures that I got from Nate.

And that's what I missed out on. All of that and I was only gone for a few hours! However, I was told that they had very good guy time together. I think that was probably code for "Why don't you leave us alone more often?" The answer? Because I just like them both so darn much.
