On that note of sentimentality, we did get out on this gorgeous day and our visit with Laura and Blake was great. Blake slept most of the time but it was good to see him. I got to see the birth video and it was both touching and hilarious. I cried and laughed at the same time. Laura and Alex are both funny people and some of their comments were just humorous. My favorite might have been Alex, when he said, "That is the cutest baby in the world. I know every Dad says that, but that really is the cutest baby in the world." Yes, every Dad says that but the best thing is that every Dad believes it. I guarantee that if you went upstairs right now and asked Cooper's Dad where the cutest baby in the world was located he'd say, "Well he's right next door asleep in his crib!" Anyways, Blake is growing and beautiful and he really is a cute baby. I can't wait to watch him grow up!
Grandma Kim is here for the night and she has so graciously volunteered to take me to the eye doctor tomorrow. We are going to do some shopping afterwards and then we're just going to spend some quality time together. On Friday we're going to Indy to visit Ashley at St. Vincent. She's been in the hospital for two weeks now and I'm looking forward to seeing her. Please keep her and those baby boys in your thoughts and prayers.
Below is a picture of Cooper watching Clifford the Big Red Dog this morning. I turned it on and he was hooked. Probably not as much as Lola seeing as she watched enthusiastically as well, but he really liked it. I thought that I had a little more time until my television was dominated by cartoons, but I guess I was wrong. Bring on the Sesame Street!
