But today something very funny did happen. Cooper was eating bananas and we've figured out that if he thinks that he's feeding himself then it works out a lot better and he actually eats more. Sure, it's messy. But it's working so I will not complain (please see post on squash).
Anyways, as I was feeding the bananas to Coop-A-Loop I loaded up a big spoonful and handed it over. He ate the nanners and then started playing with the spoon. Somehow, he reared that thing back and hit himself square in the head with it. The funny part wasn't the bananas left in his eyebrows or the bananas on his nose. The funny part was the look that he gave that spoon. He furrowed his brow and gave that spoon a shocked look like, "Dude. What was that about?" Ha-larious my friends.
This is generally what Cooper looks like after a cage match with solid foods.
Also, dear friends, I ask you this. Does this look like a little girls outfit to you? The person that bought it for him (not to mention any names...GRANDMA GLO) said, "Now Stacia, it was in the little boy section. You put it on him for Valentine's Day!" I was so against it that I most certainly did not put it on him for the the big day of love. However, due to a diaper, um, explosion of sorts his Daddy decided to punish him with this girly outfit. Alright, and maybe Mommy got a little behind on the laundry and it was one of the only outfits left. But still! Is it cruel and unusual punishment to put your child in something like this? Have I ruined him for he rest of his life? Let's be honest, if it does ruin him I'm just gonna blame it all on his Dad anyways.
And with that daunting image (seriously though, he's still handsome even in a little girl's outfit...and did you check out the hearts on the feet?) I bid you good night.
