Well, it's a sad day in the Myers house. With the excitement and anticipation of the Super Bowl also comes the sadness that the season is ending. Of course, we've already felt that letdown once this season when the Colts lost in the first game of the playoffs. But after tonight we'll go until September without our beloved NFL. Until then we'll experience baseball (Go Cards!...sorry Nate), all of the golf majors, and of course, the wonderful NCAA tournament. So there will be plenty to keep us occupied, but there is just something about football on Sundays that makes us feel complete.
Now, while Cooper and Nate nap, I head back to the kitchen to finish the abundance of goodies to fill our bellies while we watch the game tonight. I'm also secretly changing the channel from golf to the Puppy Bowl. Let's see if I can keep Lola away from the television!
